The Danish Foreign Policy Society and the Danish Atlantic Treaty Association have invited Secretary of State at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Finland Peter Stenlund to talk about "Nordic Security Cooperation".
This event is the 2nd in a series of meetings organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Finland marking that in 2017 Finland celebrates the centenary of its independence.
With the recent geopolitical moves in the Baltic Sea Region as well as around the world, the question of Nordic Security Cooperation is highly topical.
Secretary of State Stenlund has extensive Nordic experience with earlier postings as Ambassador in Oslo, Minister Counsellor in Stockholm, and Head of the Secretariat for Nordic Cooperation at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He holds a Master in Political Science from the University of Helsinki.
